Ovale

It is considered to be similar to the condition of P. vivax. Located mostly in West Africa, the condition can affect people who are having a negative Duffy blood group. This results in P. ovale being a more common kind of malaria compared to P. vivax.

Knowlesi

Seen mostly in Southeast Asia, the condition has a cycle of twenty-four hours which means the infection spreads quickly through the body and can complicate the condition in no time. Fatalities have been reported due to the effect of the condition.
